The 4 star Hotel Hamburg is one of 150 comfortable Ringhotels throughout Germany.
The highlight is its outstanding location in a quiet side-street, away from traffic noise, within the centre of Berlin, between the idyllic Tiergarten-park (diplomatic district) and the shopping area (KaDeWe).
The Hotel was under reconstruction in 1999/2001 and offers now 191 cosy and quiet rooms, all with private facilities (bath or shower), hair dryer, cable-TV, radio, minibar and telephone with an additional TAE-plug.
49 of them have recently been refurnished to large comfort-twinbedded or double rooms (28sqm). At the same time, all rooms have been equipped with air-conditioning.
There are 74 non-smoking rooms available.
The fashionable restaurant "Alsterpavillon" offers an excellent kitchen with seasonal specialities.
Next to the elegant lounge, with an open fire-place, the attractive "Hanse- Bar" offers fresh draft beer and international drinks.
Fully air-conditioned banquet and conference rooms, with daylight and modern technical equipment, for up to 90 persons are also available.
